Michael joined 1031 Exchange Connection in 2023, bringing with him over 20 years of experience working in all matters of 1031 exchanges and thousands of exchange clients. Michael earned his law degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999 and began specializing in 1031 exchanges in 2001. He has worked with several national 1031 qualified intermediary companies, operated his own consulting business, and has worked with title and banking institutions to help them structure their 1031 exchange and lending operations. He now focuses on oversight and structure of reverse, construction, and complex exchange transactions at 1031 Exchange Connection, and is happy to provide his expertise to anyone who can be helped by it.
Michael’s experience as an attorney and expert knowledge of 1031 exchanges enables him and 1031 Exchange Connection to expertly handle any exchange scenario allowable by law. Mike Dubin joined 1031 Exchange Connection in 2017 as an associate. He previously worked in banking as a loan officer where he developed excellent customer service, administrative and organizational skills in the banking sector. He’s focused on educating our clients on the rules and regulations of 1031 exchanges, gathering necessary information and documents, and working directly with attorneys and title closing agents to ensure a smooth, 1031 exchange experience for all involved in the transaction.
Mike is a single parent and resides in Naples, Florida with his son Jay and Mittens his cat. Outside of the office you’ll find him out on the soccer and football fields where he lives through his son Jay watching him play sports with his peers.
